Escribir una biografía siempre resulta un poco extraño.
En resumen, estoy muy agradecido de poder vivir de la fotografía.
Cada vez mi enfoque va más hacia el bienestar de las personas y del planeta en el que vivimos, y en cómo podemos preservar lo que aún tenemos para las futuras generaciones.
Espero que, a través de mi trabajo, pueda ofrecer una visión de lo que tenemos en común, de lo que nos une y de lo que debemos proteger para asegurar un futuro viable para nosotros y para con quienes convivimos.

David René es un fotógrafo artístico, retratista, comercial y documental cuyo trabajo está profundamente ligado a la vida entre culturas. Tras haber vivido más de la mitad de su vida en la frontera entre México y Estados Unidos, gran parte de su perspectiva está marcada por la experiencia migratoria: el movimiento y la adaptación. La singularidad de su visión reside en la combinación del retrato con el fotoperiodismo, capturando hitos históricos y culturales.
Sus proyectos suelen centrarse en Las personas y entornos que existen fuera del foco de atención, resaltando la belleza de la vida cotidiana.
Independientemente del tipo de fotografía que trabaje, David René aborda cada proyecto con una presencia emocional y un profundo respeto por sus sujetos.
David René está disponible a nivel mundial para encargos comerciales, retratistas y documentales.
Actualmente reside en la Ciudad de México.
Mantiene su compromiso con temas relacionados con cuestiones sociales, la vida silvestre y la conservación, la salud universal, las culturas en peligro de extinción, la sostenibilidad y el medio ambiente.

Writing a bio is always a bit of a strange thing to do.
The bottom line is that I am grateful to make a living from photography.
Increasingly, my focus is the well-being of the people as well as the planet we all find ourselves on and how we can preserve what we still have for our future generations. I hope that through my work I might offer a glimpse of our commonality, what unites us and what we must guard against in order to offer a viable future for our future selfs and our cohabits.

David René is an art, portrait, comercial and documentary photographer whose work is deeply connected with life between cultures. Having spent more than half of his life living at the boarder between México and USA, a lot of his perspective is shaped by the immigrant experience: movement and adaptation. The singularity of his vision, which included combining portraiture with photojournalism that captured historical and cultural touchstones.
His projects often focus on people and environments that exist outside the spotlight, highlighting beauty in the ordinary everyday life.
Whether working within any type of photography, David René approaches each project with an emotional presence, and respect for his subjects.
David René is available worldwide for comercial, portrait and documentary assignments.
He currently resides in Mexico City.
He remains committed to issues relating to social issues, wildlife and conservation, universal health, diminishing cultures, sustainability and the environment.
